Food science makes use of science and technology to facilitate our lives and improve various characteristics of food to better serve human beings. However, some people are considering whether the development of food science and technology is constantly improving people’s quality of life or causing more problems.

The former promotes the popularization of food preservation technology on a large scale, while the latter lays the foundation for the construction of a food quality system. The application of food science has greatly promoted the development of the national economy. Food science also sets standards for international trade in bulk commodities (grain, beans, meat), and the impact of standards is no less than that of tariffs. Bean paste without additives may not be able to control aerogenic bacteria, and what consumers get is a grenade. The shelf life of edible oil or puffed food without additives will be greatly shortened and the price will be greatly increased.
Food intake is to absorb the nutrition in food and achieve the purpose of sustaining individual life. As long as the human body survives healthily, the food nutrition is well absorbed, it should be the first thing to solve the problems of short meal time, and the long hunger resistance period. Because of the war, the diet revolution accelerated the pace of social life, and explored around the above three aspects as long as the survival cycle of human beings, and the pace of exploration never stopped. Different regions have also formed distinctive food cultures. With the opening of interstellar civilization, the proper way, persistence and simplification of nutrition intake are bound to come. Food culture with good color, fragrance and taste can only be used as a cultural form, which is presented as emotion like homesickness engraved in consciousness.
